Traditional treats like sesame-seed coated bread baked in a wood-fired clay-pit oven complement a diverse selection of renowned SA wines, including a choice of Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet, and in particular Shiraz (Syrah), a grape sourced from Iran over 5000 years ago.
The menu represents a cuisine that has evolved over millennia, including the signature Koobideh Kabab sprinkled with Soomagh, a delicious and authentic Persian spice with health benefits, and Lavash-Paneer Salad, a tantalising mixture of toasted lavash with walnut chips, crumbled goat’s cheese, cherry tomato and fresh layers of Persian basil and baby lettuce leaf. Middle Eastern cuisine is also famed for its delectable and eye-pleasing array of side dishes, served as an appetizer or a decorative and delicious accompaniment to your main course.
